Who We Are:
We are: Andrea (Myself) Armando (My Husband) and Mauricio (My Brother), residents of Hacienda
Heights located in Southern California USA.
As dog lovers we grew up in our country raising and showing many different breeds such as the
Dalmatian, English Setter, Siberian Husky, Chow-Chow and Boxer, we trained and learned so much
about all of these wonderful breeds. We had the opportunity to meet the Dogo Argentino on one of our
trips to Argentina at an early age, and automatically fell in love with this wonderful breed. We started
to read and learn about them before we decided to get our Dogos. We had the opportunity to go to
Argentina on many occasions, often staying with Ulises D’Andrea Nores (the Grandson of the creator
of this breed) and Jorge Funes , an unconditional fellow of this breed, we also had the opportunity to be
part of an unforgettable experience in the hunting tournament ‘Justo Daract’ and other hunting
experiences as well as sharing precious moments together and we began a beautiful friendship, with
more to come.
We have a small stock of dogs (our six Dogos and our Old English Sheep Dog). Since we home raise, we
socialize all our Dogos with kids and other pets. Even though it is a very dominant breed, we make a
great big family and we have our Dogos for pleasure and not for business, for that reason we only breed
once or twice a year with the purpose of maintaining the essence and standard of this great breed.
Our Dogos comes from some of the most important Argentinean and European lines with very
remarkable World Champions and other Multi-Champions on their pedigrees. We have three females
and three males which are: Dasha bred by El Nino, in her line she has a great mix of some of the most
important breeders in Europe such as De Angel o Demonio, Dei Falchi Bianchi both with many
European Championships and Argentinean Breeders such as Lago Puelo carrying over the Los Medanos
line. Hera de la Cocha, Aquiles II de la Cocha and Cazador de la Cocha come directly from the original
lines of great hunters and Champions, bred by our friends Ulises D’Andrea and Jorge Alberto Funes;
two wonderful friends and great hunters that we thank for the support and assistance that they are
always willing to provide us. Finally Ziza de Kallpa Yuraj and Cacique de Kallpa Yuraj, both were born
and raised in our kennel, they are excellent examples of a well done breeding program with many
attributes and a very promising future.
